Ruby in zoisite is a type of ruby where the crystals are embedded in a zoisite matrix. The zoisite is green, and the ruby has its characteristic pinkish-purple color. Both are thus visible in this stone! The cabochon is smoothly polished, oval in shape, and measures 10x8 mm.
